Presentation Guidelines

Guidelines for Preparation of Oral Presentations:

  • Prepare your presentation in powerpoint format (alternatively pdf) and bring the file with you to the Registration Desk at the Welcome Reception.
  • Use the powerpoint template of your institution. There is no conference template for PESS 2017.
  • The time for your presentation is 15 minutes plus 5 minutes questions from the auditorium. Please strictly adhere to the time limit, which will be monitored by the session chairman.
  • Please do not use handouts.
  • There will be an award given honouring the best oral presentation. The award comes with a price money of 300€.

Guidelines for Preparation of Poster Presentations:

  • Prepare and print the poster at home and bring it with you to the Registration Desk at the Welcome Reception. There are no printing facilities at the conference venue!
  • Use A0 poster format for your poster.
  • Use the poster template of your institution. There is no special poster template for PESS 2017.
  • During the poster session, the presenting author is required to stand in front of his/her poster in order to answer questions regarding his work.
  • There will be an award given honouring the best poster presentation. The award comes with a price money of 300€.
